Child Safety Standards Policy

At Sociable, user safety is our highest priority. We strictly prohibit any form of child sexual abuse, exploitation, or related content. Our platform is for adults only, and minors are not permitted to register or use our services.

We comply with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards and all relevant laws to prevent, detect, and report child exploitation. Any violations will result in immediate action, including content removal, account termination, and reporting to authorities.

1. Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

We strictly prohibit any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform.All reports or discoveries of CSAE will be treated with the highest priority and urgency.

CSAE includes any content or activity involving the sexual exploitation, abuse, or harm of minors, such as grooming, sexual extortion, trafficking, or any other form of abuse.

Any content promoting or depicting sexual harm to minors is strictly forbidden and will be removed immediately.

Accounts involved in such activities will be permanently banned and reported to the appropriate authorities.

2. Strictly Prohibited Activities and Content

2.1 Strictly Prohibited Activities

The following content and behaviours are strictly forbidden on Sociable under all circumstances:

• Uploading, soliciting, distributing, or promoting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any format.
• Using the platform for grooming, exploitation, or any activity that endangers children.
• Posting content or communications that violate child protection laws.
• Linking to third-party sources or platforms that host CSAM.
  

2.2 No Exceptions for Awareness or Discussion

Discussions, materials, or references related to these prohibited activities are not allowed, even if intended for awareness or condemnation.‍

3. Reporting Mechanism

We urge all users to report any violation of these Standards. Sociable provides multiple reporting mechanisms:

3.1 In-APP Reporting

Users can report an event or user profile by selecting the options button (“…”) and selecting the “Report User/Event” option available on every Event or User Profile including Event Cards.

Upon selecting “Report User/Event” users are prompted to choose a reason for the report and provide additional details.

Our governance team will be immediately notified for review and action.

4. Enforcing Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

4.1 Content Removal and Investigation

Any detected or reported child sexual abuse material (CSAM) will be promptly removed in accordance with legal requirements and platform policies.

We thoroughly investigate all reports and prioritise swift resolution.

4.2 Consequences for Violations

Violating these Standards may result in content removal, account suspension or termination, and, if necessary, referral to law enforcement.

We reserve the right to take any necessary action to uphold these Standards.

4.3 Reporting and Cooperation

Upon receiving reports of CSAM, Sociable:

• Immediately removes the content and blocks the responsible account.
• Reports the material to the relevant authorities.
• Fully cooperates with law enforcement agencies to support investigations and enforcement actions.
  

5. Legal Compliance and Law Enforcement Cooperation

5.1 Compliance with Child Protection Laws

Sociable adheres to all applicable child protection laws, including those governing:

• The identification, prevention, and reporting of child sexual exploitation.
• Data privacy and security measures to safeguard minors.
  

We continuously update our policies to align with evolving legal requirements and industry best practices.

5.2 Reporting and Law Enforcement Cooperation

Any identified or confirmed child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is reported to relevant authorities as required by law.

We actively cooperate with law enforcement agencies to assist in investigations and prosecutions related to child sexual abuse and exploitation.

When necessary, we provide relevant data and support to ensure offenders are held accountable.

6. Updates to These Standards

We may update these Standards at any time to comply with evolving laws, regulations, and best practices for preventing child sexual exploitation. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy reflects the most recent changes.

By continuing to use our platform after an update takes effect, you agree to abide by the revised Standards.

7. Immediate Action in Case of Danger

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, please contact local law enforcement right away.
